went to lau pa sat yesterday after going for a dim sum high tea buffet and eating alot at my mum's workplace, so i was too full to eat anything else at lau pa sat anyway. supposed to meet at raffles place mrt at 6pm. so as usual i was the one waiting for people, but oh well, whats new eh? yah, so met pinky and liyanna, and lawrence didnt now the way from raffles place to lau pa sat and took a cab there, which was pretty hilarious, hahahaha ^_^. anyway, to cut a long story short, shaar lost her way driving (her bmw, by the way... wish i had one. but then, its not like i can drive lah, so, haha) and they, meaning azad edwin jeremy charles and shaar arrived at around 8 plus. so understandably, jacq who organised this thing was pretty pissed at azad especially cos he was the one who asked her to organise it. haha. azad forever like that one loh. quite amusing actually. ^_^ matin and este came too. after everyone finally arrived it was pretty good actually. we talked and laughed (duh, with jeremy and azad around, everything's a joke haha), and heard lots of army stuff (what with all those army guys around...) and army ghost stories, which i wasnt so keen to hear about by the way. oh yah, our class guys covers lots of ground in the army loh. there's like 2 sispec guys, one ocs, one civil defence officer, a pilot, someone's with infantry or artillery or something, and a oct (i think) and haha, a driver. oh and one who's not in army yet, haha. oops. haha. i miss our class and the fun we had during lessons. haha. like the ms lee- paul chong- lawrence incident. muahaha. ^_^i just realised its been some time since our whole gang has gone out together leh. we keep pangseh-ing each other loh. eh guys, must make an effort to meet lah. i havent actually hung out with qq n mark for awhile already loh... =(

oh yah, this is a chong chong (milipede) me and shin saw when we were leaving ntu after the mandatory medical examination. it was wriggling around in the middle of the step of the staircase just waiting to be stepped on and squashed. i think it may have a death wish. wonder if its still alive. anyway, jacq this chong chong is for you, haha. =D

its been 3 days since my sister came back form china for her holiday and i can already see myself going deaf in the near future. man, our house turns into a madhouse whenever she's around loh. wah talk so loudly loh. it feels like she never left since she's always been like that. wonder how her housemates take it. *shakes head* laments of a long- suffering younger sister... haha ^_^this is the noodles my sister brought back for me that jay chou 代言. haha.
thats about the only good thing about her return. haha. im joking lah. haha. for the most parts. haha. just kidding, just kidding. =D hehe. anyway the noodles pretty good. seriously. not just because of jay chou loh. or maybe its just because i like noodles in general. hahaha. actually i think china people will think im very suaku loh. apparently, this instant noodle is extremely common in china. actually, it appears that jay chou is all over the place in china because he 代言 alot of stuff. hehehe. ^_^

england 2 : trinidad and tobago 0yeah!! man i thought england wasnt going to score but they scored twice in the last seven minutes. gerrard's goal was nice ^_^ england had a lot of shots on goal, especially by crouch and lampard but they didnt manage to score. rooney played not bad considering he hasnt played for so long but dont look match fit leh. but at least england's got past the group stage lah. ^_^

i was watching x2: x- men united last night and i was in the toilet doing, er, stuff and i was just randomly thinking about something pyro said in the movie. so there was this scene in the show where rouge, pyro, iceman and wolverine was at bobby/iceman's house. so anyway, iceman just told his parents that he is basically, yah well, iceman, a mutant, and can turn water into ice and yadda yadda. so his mom was saying that its her fault that he is a mutant and john/ pyro told her that it's biologically the dad's fault because the mutation that occurs resulting in the mutants having strange mutant powers actually happens in the y- chromosome. so logically and biologically speaking, this is actually a sex- linked mutation isnt it? so doesnt that logically follows that only guys who get the mutant y- chromosome from their dad can be mutants with strange power, and there shouldnt be any girl mutants at all?haha. just a random thought loh.
ok so, anyway. went biking at east coast park today with gang minus mark (who was busy with ami ^_^ haha) plus hafidz plus qq's ben. the moral of this outing was, do not set unrealistic timings like 10am in the morning to meet, a time which people like us will probably never be able to meet. the time was pushed back to 12pm, then 1pm, and then 1.30pm. go figure... anyway, not much pictures to speak of since only ben brought a camera. eh qq, must get us the pictures hor. yah so, we onl managed to get in about an hour or so of bike riding. but the sea was beautiful and it was beautiful day. i just wish there was a way to have a beautiful sunny day without all the humidity. a person can dream, cant i? bedok jetty was pretty. ^_^
